Bohumil Heinz was a Czech graphic artist and engraver who made a significant contribution to the artistic and technical quality of steel-engraved postage stamps. From the 1930s onwards, he designed and engraved dozens of Czechoslovak stamps. His engraving artistry was highly regarded both in his home country and abroad. Throughout his life, he created remarkable works that were appreciated by both experts and the general public.
